International Conference on Design for 3d Printing

Singapore Centre for 3D Printing International Thematic Conferences Series

The Singapore Centre for 3D Printing (SC3DP), established on 1 December 2014, is a research center funded by National Research Foundation (NRF) and supported by Nanyang Technological University and Economic Development Board. Our ambition is to be the world leader in 3D printing and wellspring of knowledge by performing cutting edge research in the multiple aspects related to 3D printing, delivering state-of-the-art and innovative solutions to the industry, attracting leading researchers to the Centre and nurturing a skilled talent pool. Our research is addressing key social, economic and environmental challenges.

The International Conference on 3D Printing is part of the Singapore Centre for 3D Printing International Thematic Conferences Series and has the support of the National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Cluster (NAMIC).

The Conference aims to provide a major international forum for academics, researchers and industrial partners to exchange ideas in the field, and it will cover topics such as:

  • Co-creation in 3D Printing
  • Design methods and tools: generative design, topology optimization, redesign, biomimetics
  • Design for 3D printing with novel materials: 4D, metamaterials, functionally graded, biological materials
  • Design for 3D printing and sustainable development Data flow, security and standards
  • Design for 3D printing tools and approaches with AI, modelling and simulation
  • New case studies and applications in design for 3D printing
