The NTU Alumni for Alumni Job Opportunity Initiative and E-Job Fair

The NTU Alumni for Alumni E-Job Fair is an initiative that serves as an extension from the NTU Alumni for Alumni Job initiative. For this initiative, we reached out to our senior alumni and alumni business owners to offer job opportunities to fellow alumni as an act of camaraderie and goodwill during the COVID-19 pandemic. This was done in line with the University’s initiatives to boost the employability of the graduating final-year students. We noted that, outside of the fresh graduates, our alumni may be going through personal employment difficulties due to the current economic downturn and thus, this initiative and the E-job fair is open to all alumni.

In this E-Job fair, there will be career booths by our participating employers, and you will be able to connect with these employers for job opportunities through a live chat or video conference function.

There will be a series of Career Talks touching on various topics such as

• Career Search during Crisis - How to secure employment during a recession/pandemic? Alumni who survived their own economic crises have plenty to share.


• Life after Graduation - You just graduated, now what? Learn from those who were once in your shoes.


• “Is a profession in sales right for you” - Hear directly from those in the field to understand exactly what this career path entails.


• Gig economy worker – Setting up your own business? Freelancing? Not a traditional desk-bound job? Learn more from an alumnus who took the road less travelled.
